Kim Kardashian's SKIMS brand has been trashed online for the alleged poor quality of its $148 Accessories Advent Calendar.
In a TikTok posted on Friday (November 6), digital creator wetsloppyswollen complained that the holiday product was "too expensive" and overpriced, with products for the 12-day calendar allegedly being cheaper than the set itself.
"Like, I better start pulling some because this is way too expensive for this. SKIM clips, hair clips like that. What is this? A hair tie? What is this? A bra strap made into a hair tie?" the content creator said. "Perfect. More SKIMS bobby pins. The red ones. I wanted that so bad. ... There's only one left after this, so I'm really close to getting really pissed off."
The calendar contains SKIMS-branded products such as a a bear keychain, hair elastics, three-packs of satin scrunchies and bobby pins, a SKIMS squishy, clips and a bra elastic headband.
Complaints were also posted to X, with customers sharing their disappointment with the holiday-exclusive items.
The calendar went on sale with the SKIMS Holiday Shop on October 29, with the brand describing it as surprises "from hair accessories to keychains and more." Kardashian has not addressed the controversy while the holiday shop also includes loungewear, pajamas and intimates.
