The auctioning off of Dame Dash’s life rights is complete, and the winner is ready to spend $550,000 to own the mogul’s story — with the money set to go not to Dame, but to his creditors.

On Wednesday (Oct. 21), the trustee in charge of the Roc-a-fella co-founder’s bankruptcy served notice to the Florida court overseeing the process that the auction, which took place on October 1, was complete.

Everlasting Films, LLC — the same company that made a $37,000 “stalking horse” bid at the beginning of the process — was the winner, paying $550,000 for exclusive, worldwide rights to Dame’s life story, as well as “100 hours of video content, photographs, and memorabilia.” On top of that, they’ll get the rights to “an unreleased, in-development documentary/film project.”

If Everlasting Films doesn’t close the deal within the required period, a man named Doug Peters, who made his own half-million dollar bid, will get the rights.

The life rights process began back in August, when the trustee, Traci K. Stevenson, filed court documents seeking to auction off the rights, with the money set to go to Dash’s creditors. Stevenson said that Dash had not listed his life rights among his assets when he filed for bankruptcy in 2025, despite their “evident value in light of the Debtor's public profile and his historical association with Roc-A-Fella Records and [Jay-Z].”

“[T]he monetization of an individual's name, image, and likeness has become a well-established and actively regulated commercial market,” Stevenson wrote at the time. “That market confirms that rights of this character -- a person's name, image, likeness, persona, and life narrative -- are recognized as commercially valuable, transferable property, further supporting the Trustee's business judgment that the Property is a marketable Estate asset appropriate for sale.”

The plan was approved in a court hearing the following month.

Dash filed for bankruptcy back in September, 2025, claiming $25 million in debts and only $4,350 of personal assets.

In other Dame Dash news, he was accused on Wednesday by Josh Webber, the filmmaker with whom he’s been engaged in a lengthy legal battle, of failing to pay $4,408.20 in sanctions ordered by a federal judge. In addition, Webber claims that Dash has claimed ownership of a royalty account for his 2018 movie Honor Up, even though the rights to that film have also been auctioned off, and were purchased by Webber himself.
