The Game is making a bold claim about Chris Brown's reported ties to the Bloods on their latest collaboration.
On the new track "Sticks," the Compton rapper claims he was personally responsible for making Brown a Blood, while also referencing the infamous 2022 Oscars incident involving Will Smith and Chris Rock.
"I made Chris Brown a Blood, that's somethin' y'all gotta deal with / So let Chris rock or I'll smack the fuck out Will Smith / And that's real shit, I ain't no actor," Game raps.
Both artists have reportedly been associated with different Piru sets within the Bloods. Game has long been affiliated with Cedar Block Piru in Compton, while Brown has reportedly been linked to Fruit Town Piru, something the rapper publicly addressed in 2025.
"You gonna have to get Chris on here... for him to answer for himself," Game said at the time. "But for me, you know, speaking about Chris and his affiliation to the Bloods, like, you're affiliated, and he gonna stand on business about it."
Game went on to say he wasn't going to question Brown's ties.
"Who am I to question his affiliation?" he said. "For anybody that's watching that wanted to know for me, how I feel about Chris and his ties to the Bloods, I feel like it's official. Okay. You heard? It's official. Respected."
Game's own Cedar Block Piru affiliation has been a recurring element throughout his career and music. He reportedly joined the West Compton set through his older half-brother George Taylor III, who led the faction.
Those ties have surfaced throughout Game's catalog, including his 2006 single "It's Okay (One Blood)." The deluxe artwork for his 2012 album Jesus Piece also featured a Black Jesus wearing a red bandana.
"Sticks" also adds to Game and Brown's lengthy musical history together. They appeared on the 2009 Michael Jackson tribute "Better on the Other Side," alongside Diddy, Usher, and Boyz II Men, and later collaborated on songs including "Gangstas Make the Girls Go Wild."
Brown also appeared alongside Tyga, Wiz Khalifa, and Lil Wayne on Game's 2012 single "Celebration."
