Keke Palmer and Her Son Channel Michael Jackson's Janet Collab "Scream" for Halloween 2026

“Happy Halloween from me and my mini-me,” the ‘Nope’ star told fans.

Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson’s “Scream,” directed by Mark Romanek, still stands as one of the most enduring visual feasts in music video history, and Keke Palmer clearly knows this as well as anyone.

Wednesday (Oct. 28), the Nope and One of Them Days star channeled the revered video in an elaborate recreation for Halloween 2026.

“Happy Halloween from me and my mini-me,” Palmer, joined by her son, Leo, told fans when sharing the video to Instagram. “That iPad is a lifesaver OMG. I haven’t stopped laughing.”

Moses Alexander was tagged in the video, suggesting the digital creator played a key role in bringing this vision to life. When sharing photos of her and her son in full MJ and Janet-inspired garb, Palmer credited the shots to Jacob Webster.

“Another memory with mommy and son!” Palmer captioned the photos. “I love you so much, buddy. It’s so much fun playing with you! You will take over the family business, your way, someday. My SCREAM come true.”

Palmer is the latest to join the ranks of the most impressive of this year’s celebrity Halloween offerings. Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton, Chloe Bailey, and more previously debuted their 2026 looks. We have a running list going, updated periodically, and you can check that out here.
