The ex of Milwaukee Bucks shooting guard Tyler Herro is accusing him of sending inappropriate text messages, and now she's asking a judge to intervene.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Katya Elise Henry, 32, wants all communication between the 26-year-old NBA star and herself about their two children to take place through a court-approved messaging platform.
Henry reportedly claimed Herro typically responds to discussions about the kids in an "aggressive, inappropriate and emotionally charged manner." She also alleged that he violated an existing order requiring respectful communication, pointing to messages in which she says he was "incredibly disrespectful and far from courteous or formal."
Henry wants the court to require Herro to keep future messages appropriate and use the approved application to help enforce that expectation. Per TMZ, she also described his desire that communication about the children go through his mother as an "unreasonable and irresponsible position."
The dispute has become more complicated since Herro was traded from the Miami Heat to Milwaukee in June. Herro now lives in Milwaukee, while Henry reportedly remains in Miami, per TMZ.
Henry says the relocation has "compounded" their difficulties, noting that Herro "is suddenly requesting increased contact and access that can only be accomplished by lengthy air travel involving several moving parts."
The former couple, who split in early 2025, share a daughter born in 2021 and a son born in 2023, according to People.
Henry, a fitness entrepreneur and model, has sought primary custody and child support, requesting "safeguards" around Herro's visitation.
According to an earlier report from TMZ, Henry says she has handled most of the children's care since their breakup and claims Herro had only a handful of overnight visits between March 2025 and her filing.
Henry acknowledges that Herro has financially supported their children since birth. She is seeking shared parental responsibility while requesting "ultimate decision-making authority" over their health, education, and extracurricular activities.
