Jimmy Kimmel couldn't resist taking another shot at Donald Trump following the Republican Party's losses in the 2026 midterm elections, bringing Nicki Minaj into the conversation.
During Tuesday night's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the late-night host mocked the president over the election results while referencing his recent comments about Minaj and Ohio Senator Jon Husted.
"After all of the talk about Nicki Minaj's ass, John Husted's ass. The only ass on Trump's mind tonight is the one that got handed to him," Kimmel joked.
The remark came as Kimmel discussed Democrats' election-night gains, including their victory in the House of Representatives, which he celebrated as a major setback for Trump and Republicans.
Kimmel's punchline was a callback to Trump's appearance at an October 25 campaign rally in Port Huron, Michigan, where the president made headlines for commenting on Minaj's backside.
"By the way, I looked at one hell of a beautiful ass before, Nicki Minaj," Trump told the crowd while acknowledging the rapper's presence. "That's hard to miss."
The comment came as Trump was discussing Husted's physique, having previously joked about looking at the Ohio senator's backside during a campaign appearance.
Minaj, who has publicly supported Trump, attended the Michigan rally as Republicans campaigned ahead of the midterms.
Kimmel had already mocked the exchange during an October 26 episode of his show, where he imitated Trump's gestures and expressed disbelief over the president's comments about the "Super Bass" rapper.
"Horny Donald is my least favorite Donald of all of them," Kimmel said at the time.
The comedian returned to the subject on election night, using the earlier controversy to deliver another joke at Trump's expense.
Elsewhere in Tuesday's monologue, Kimmel described the Democratic gains as a "blue tsunami" and joked about Vice President JD Vance as Republicans faced losses across multiple races.
"The Democrats took so many seats, JD Vance can't even find one to have sex with him," Kimmel said, referencing the long-debunked internet rumor involving the vice president and a couch.
