Juvenile

Juvenile is a New Orleans rapper who emerged in the late 1990s as a founding member of the Hot Boys and a leading artist on Cash Money Records. His 1998 album *400 Degreez* featured the hit "Back That Azz Up," which helped define the bounce-influenced Southern hip-hop sound and brought national attention to New Orleans rap. His defining feature is the partnership with producer Mannie Fresh, blending vivid street storytelling with the infectious rhythms of bounce music. Fans return to Juvenile’s catalog to trace the evolution of Southern hip-hop, especially how his work captures New Orleans’ unique blend of resilience and celebration, influencing artists who fuse trap beats with regional culture.
