Yes, Drake is 40 now, and he rang in the milestone while wearing a custom necklace from Anomaly Relic featuring a photo of his parents.
Amid celebrations in New York City this weekend, the Iceman artist was spotted rocking a custom necklace inspired by an original design from Anomaly Relic founder Karen Yost, who has since given fans a detailed look at the familial piece.
Per Yost, the process of bringing this piece to life began when Drake’s stylist, Juliet Charlotte, reached out to request “a personalized version” of a previous piece from the NYC-based fine jewelry maker.
“The centerpiece features a photograph of his mother and father back in the day,” Yost explained in a post shared to Instagram over the weekend. “A family portrait, 14k gold and diamonds, and a design worth passing down to his own son. Exactly the kind of jewelry I make.”
As seen below, the piece is indeed anchored by a photo of Drake’s parents, Sandi and Dennis Graham. The necklace also boasts an assortment of charms, including ones reading “#1 Lady” and “Super Dad.” After taking the custom piece “out for a spin” herself, Yost passed it to Drake.
Drake, as is well-documented, has a real knack for ensuring his birthday celebrations are a sizable and often mutlipronged affair. This year, for example, he enlisted Backstreet Boys for a surprise performance.
2026 has proven to be a banner year for the 6 god, as he’s rolled out three new albums, plus his FOMO short film. Submitting his latest batch of new music for Grammys consideration, however, seems like it was not on the agenda.
