This erupting volcano located on the Kuril Islands just northeast of Japan made for some stunning photography. Astronauts aboard the International Space Station captured these images of the active Sarychev volcano. The warm air from the volcano was so hot that as you can see, surrounding cold air clouds parted. Below is a video including multiple angles of the eruption.
