On Thursday (August 20), the actor attended the world premiere of The Dog Stars at London's Odeon Luxe Leicester Square, giving the Chanel shoes their first public showing. The barefoot shoes were first seen during Matthieu Blazy's Chanel Cruise collection in April.
The shoes, officially called "barefoot cap heel" flats, cover nothing but the wearer's heels. A logo-emblazoned block heel and two ankle straps are the entire construction without a sole, toe box and arch support, leaving the front foot almost entirely exposed.
Qualley wore the shoes with a full Chanel look curated by stylist Danielle Goldberg, a black midi dress with a V-shaped neckline, short sleeves, and small circular motifs arranged in strings and tassels that created a fringe effect across the body.
