Key Takeaways
- Rihanna called baby Rocki a “skin goddess,” praising her perfect complexion, elasticity, and naturally moisturized skin.
- The Fenty founder also joked that A$AP Rocky may be draining her Vanilla Flowers body wash and said school drop-offs and pick-ups make her “soar as a mom.”
- Rihanna also championed Fenty Beauty’s 50-shade Fluid Flex foundation after Fenty Beauty, Fenty Skin, and Fenty Hair earned three 2026 Allure Best of Beauty honors.
Rihanna has built a billion-dollar beauty empire, but apparently her youngest daughter holds the skincare secrets.
During a recent installment of The Cut's "Five Questions" series, filmed at Ulta Beauty, Rihanna discussed everything from her children's bathroom habits to the beauty rituals she hopes to share with her daughter Rocki. But when the conversation turned to the family's youngest member, Rihanna admitted she might be the one taking notes.
"Oh my gosh, I'm looking forward to Rocki passing on beauty rituals to me because she is like a skin goddess," Rihanna said. "Her skin is so perfect. The elasticity, always moisturized, perfect complexion. These are the things that we want."
Rocki, whom Rihanna welcomed with A$AP Rocky in 2025, is the couple's third child and first daughter. The pair also share sons RZA (born in 2022) and Riot (born in 2023).
While Rocki may have inherited her mother’s complexion, someone else in Rihanna’s household seems to appreciate her products, too.
"Every time I go into the shower, somehow my body wash, Vanilla Flowers, that one in particular, is just going down by like a quarter of the bottle every time," the Fenty founder explained.
Rihanna added that she knows exactly how much product she uses and where she leaves the bottle, so its sudden disappearance is especially noticeable. She suspects her longtime partner, A$AP Rocky, may be the culprit.
The singer also discussed the less glamorous side of raising three children, including a recent attempt to get everyone organized for their annual pediatrician appointments at home.
She recalled wearing a fluffy Savage X Fenty robe while trying to manage the situation, only to discover that the comfortable outfit wasn't particularly practical for the occasion.
Despite admitting that neither she nor her children particularly enjoy routines, Rihanna said she wouldn’t trade one part of motherhood.
"I live for a drop-off and pick-up routine," she said. "I feel like I just soar as a mom because I'm doing something normal."
The latest comments follow Rocki's fashion debut earlier this year, when she joined Rihanna for W magazine's Pop Issue. The baby appeared in a custom Dior Haute Couture diaper and headpiece created by designer Jonathan Anderson.
"The haute couture diaper is definitely a first for Dior," Anderson told the magazine.
Meanwhile, Rihanna's beauty business continues expanding. During her conversation with The Cut, she also discussed Fenty Beauty's Fluid Flex foundation, which comes in 50 shades.
"I've never been so confident in a product as I have been with Fluid Flex," she said.
