Showing its face for the first time in Detroit today, the C7.R looks more than ready to replace its C6.R bretheren in just a couple weeks at the Rolex 24 at Daytona on January 25. It will be competing in the Tudor United SportsCar Championship against the likes of the Porsche 911, the SRT Viper GTS.R, and the BMW Z4 GTE.
It's expected to run on a 5.5L V8, has a wider body and has all the aero add-ons you'd expect for a racer (yes, there were still a few more things needed beyond those standard vents). Time to go scalp some tickets ...
