Nike Running has immortalized a viral meme from 2014 on an upcoming Pegasus Premium colorway, as evidenced by these images.

The moment goes all the way back to 2014, when KOIN 6 News reporter Lisa Balick in Portland, OR, interviewed two runners jogging during a snowstorm. One of the runners, named Chelsea Bauch, told Balick that the snow was very low impact, dry enough to keep feet from getting wet, and “the perfect texture for running.” As the interview wrapped, the camera panned to Bauch, where she immediately fell backwards.

This upcoming Nike Pegasus Premium (style code: IV7695-001) sports a predominantly grey color scheme and offset by yellow and blue accents on the mudguard and midsole, inspired by the outfits of the two joggers. The standout detail is the text “The Perfect Texture for Running” printed on the insole.

Release details for this new Nike Pegasus Premium colorway have yet to be announced but check back soon for official updates.
