The season may be over for Dame Lillard, but the adidas D Lillard 1's run will continue into the year.
On the horizon, a new off-court version of Lillard's debut sig, styled in brown tumbled leather with a flannel bootie and tongue. Other features include metal rivets and D-ring eyelets, a leather heel overlay, speckled midsole and black rubber outsole. The area code 503 is printed on the heel pull-tab, presumably making this shoe a nod to Portland and its lumberjack heritage, though that hasn't been confirmed.
A release date for the 'Lumberjack' adidas D Lillard 1 is set for Friday, Aug. 7.
UPDATE 8/5: Official photos for this colorway, appropriately named the adidas D Lillard 1 "Forestry." The sneaker's sockliner features a #4BarFriday entry from Lillard that references his time in PDX:
