Project CARS is the gorgeous racing game that's being funded (and even developed, in part) by fans. Apparently the "CARS" stands for Community-Aided Racing Sim. Get it? It's in development at Slightly Mad Studios, the studio behind Need for Speed: Shift.
The game looks absolutely stunning in the latest trailer, which shows off some multiplayer gameplay. As far as hardcore racing sims go, do you think this can beat Forza, F1 and the like?
