Hyper-cinematic to be the future of Gaming?
Sony keeps breaking new ground in realism and the cinematic feel of its games. Following the critical success and chart topping sales of The Last of Us, Beyond: Two Souls takes realism and immersion to a whole new level.
There has been some controversy between the two games. As the star of Beyond: Two Souls, Ellen Page claimed that her likeness was used in The Last of Us. While there are certainly likenesses we doubt they ripped of Ellen as much as captured her character type, is that the same thing?

Fish blows up on Twitter and Fez 2 is no more
Last night it broke that after an - at best - amateur and expletive filled Twitter war following GameTrailers' Marcus Beer's extensive on-screen rant about Phil Fish and his development partner Jonathan Blow, Mr. Fish says Fez 2 is dead he's leaving the industry.
Beer called the due "self-styled kings of the indie genre," in an angry rant which Beer says started when Fish denied comment on the rumored details of Microsoft's indie publishing specifications, none of which Microsoft has confirmed. Beer followed with personal attacks mainly directed at Fish.
After the Twitter exchange that followed, Fish went autodestruct and announced the cancellation of Fez 2, only announced last month and alluded to walking away from the industry; "I'm done, Fez II is cancelled. Goodbye."
Fish's persona was brought into the public eye after he was a major part of the successful film "Indie Game: The Movie." Fish has not been known for his self-censorship and Beer was clearly trying to elicit a response.
