Drake is pulling out all the stops for his "Goth Baddie."
The rapper reportedly flew Pinkchyu, the cosplay content creator and streamer, to Toronto this past week and rented out Casa Loma for a private sushi dinner, according to TMZ. The nearly 200,000-square-foot, 98-room landmark was shut down for the evening, with only a server, a bartender, and security present.
Drake ultimately chose Pinkchyu on his Aug. 8 Kick dating special, a NELK Boys-produced "20-v-1" livestream sponsored by Stake. She beat out finalists Lena the Plug and Jordyn Lucas, the latter of whom left with a Birkin bag and $25,000.
The viral moment that put Pinkchyu on the map came mid-show, when Drake told her, "You can look me dead in my eyes and if you say do anything, I would." She replied, "Would you bark for me?" Drake didn’t hesitate.
Upon learning that she won, Pinkchyu requested a house for her retired mother as her prize. Drake replied, "Oh yeah, I'd love to." In a TMZ interview on Aug. 12, she confirmed he was making good on that promise, saying she just needs to pick a listing and he will cover it.
In that same interview, Pinkchyu said the two had not hooked up after the show but that "something is in the works" following conversations at the after-party. The Casa Loma date appears to be that something.
The castle evening is not Drake's first lavish private venue move. He rented out Dodger Stadium for a dinner date back in 2021.
Pinkchyu has said she was not a major Drake fan going in and knew him mainly from his Degrassi days. She does have aspirations of breaking into the music industry, and her OnlyFans subscriptions reportedly spiked after she went viral following the show.
