Get even more excited about Empire: The Wrap reports that Timbaland will be tasked with writing original songs for the upcoming Lee Daniels-created hip-hop drama. The show will feature both original music and existing music.
Empire is directed by Daniels and co-written with Charlie Strong. The show will star Daniels' The Butler star Terrence Howard, and Taraji P. Henson.
No word on when we can expect to see it, but it's shaping up to be an exciting project.
