Hayek took to her Instagram page sharing the photo on September 2 with the caption, "59 trips around the sun and still dancing ☀️💃🏻 cheers to all of you & thank you for the love."
Hayek, dressed in nothing but a bikini and sunglasses, was pictured holding a matching drink and giving a playful expression to the camera. It appears the actress began celebrating the final year of her 50s with a yacht trip, surrounded by water.
The post was filled with positive comments from her more than 30 million followers on the popular social media app. Some celebrities sent their best wishes—including Anthony Hopkins who wrote, "Happy birthday ♥️ We love you." Hayek's birthday posts comes just after a week after the actress posted a tribute to her father-in-law François Pinault, the founder of the luxury group Kering.

Hayek married Pinault's son, François-Henri Pinault back in 2009. The couple has one daughter together, 17-year-old Valentina Paloma Pinault.
