Treach of Naughty by Nature Calls Out Kanye West Over a Fake Tupac News Article

We're only six days into 2016 and we already have our first hip-hop beef of the year, though this is probably unlike any hip-hop beef we've ever seen before. The issue begins with Naughty by Nature member Treach, who has been going in on Kanye West and Kim Kardashian on social media over the past few days. The reason is quite odd and apparently stems from a fake 2014 news story that claimed 'Ye called Tupac "the most overrated rapper in history." If you're wondering about the authenticity of the site, another headline currently on the page is "50 Cent Breaks Up With His Long-Term Boyfriend."

Treach likely wasn't aware that this news was fake, and he has proceeded to send some pretty harsh tweets in Kanye's direction. In what looks like the first tweet in the rant, Treach put up a picture of Kanye and wrote, "& this ni**a said 2Pac is overrated, you over rated as a tran inlaw fuck boy!! Merry no nuts." The onslaught has continued throughout this week and it's unclear if Treach has been made aware that the original news post is fake. Of course, Treach and 'Pac were very close back in the day, so it makes sense that he would defend the legacy of his friend.
