Ty Dolla Sign has released a new track that sees the hitmaker share the mic with some of his EZMNY Records artists.
On Friday (November 6), he delivered "Grain of Salt" featuring G-Eazy, rjtheweirdo and Bizzy Crook. Pairing Ty's melodic R&B instincts with his collaborators' individual styles, the track addresses low-effort romantic gestures.
"You took all I had with a grain of salt," rjtheweirdo sings on the opening of the hook, before later asking: "How we supposed to last with a grain of salt?"
Accompanied by a cinematic music video directed by JakeTheShooter of Shooter Co., you can check out the black-and-white visual above.
Ty Dolla Sign co-founded EZMNY with industry veteran Shawn Barron, and the label entered a joint venture with Create Music Group in June 2025. Bizzy Crook and rjtheweirdo are on a roster that also includes Leon Thomas.
G-Eazy is the roster's newest big name. In September, he announced a joint partnership with EZMNY and EMPIRE, a deal that took him outside the major label system for the first time in more than a decade, after his last six albums came out through RCA Records.
As he put it at the time: "G-Eazy signing to EZMNY kinda just has a ring to it doesn't it?"
A couple of weeks ago, Ty Dolla Sign joined Bryson Tiller, among a number of other performers, as a special guest on the L.A. date of the singer's Neo Trapsoul World Tour. Check out what went down here.
