Pretty Ricky’s Pleasure P urges Omarion to sing a cappella
Omarion and Pleasure P both exhibited confidence in their respective vocal chops on Thursday. In one particularly playful and immediately zeroed-in-on moment, P urged Omarion to go a cappella.
“Sing right now,” he told the B2K singer.
Static Major honored with special tribute message
“Rest in peace to Static Major,” Pleasure P said while on the VERZUZ stage on Thursday.
The producer and singer, whose credits included Lil Wayne’s “Lollipop” and Pretty Ricky’s “Make It Like It Was,” tragically died at the age of 33 in 2008.
Lizzo was in the building
Lizzo showed up for Thursday’s VERZUZ, ultimately getting a from-the-stage shoutout from B2K during their performance.
B2K and Pretty Ricky brought their hits to VERZUZ
The B2K and Pretty Ricky VERZUZ kicked off with a Round 1 pairing of “Girlfriend” and “Grind With Me,” following by a run of fan-favorites from both groups including (but not limited to) “Uh Huh,” “Your Body,” “Gots Ta Be,” “Juicy,” “What a Girl Wants,” and “Shorty Be Mine.”
