2 Chainz is confident in what he and Statik Selektah have put together for Playaz Only Live Once, telling fans the new album boasts “some of my best work.”
Fans have had an inkling that P.O.L.O. was imminent since last year, though it wasn’t until the release of “A Week in Paris” on Friday (Oct. 30) that the hype was effectively formalized.
The track, like the rest of the new album, is produced entirely by Statik Selektah. Lyrically, it finds Chainz detailing a luxury-infused trip to the French capital, complete with a nod to the artist formerly known as Kanye West’s Graduation classic “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” in the second verse.
P.O.L.O., also featuring the previously released tracks “Reign” and “Pops,” is out Dec. 4. Hear “A Week in Paris” below.
