Earlier this week, super-producers Swizz Beatz and Just Blaze announced via Instagram that they would be having a beat battle on Friday night. They would go back and forth, track-for-track.
As things were getting set up, Swizz explained that the contest would feature "no pre-made beats."
This is not the first time Swizz has been involved in a high-profile beat battle. Back in 2007, he took on Kanye West while they were both onstage at Summer Jam.
This time, though, the audience is you. Watch the battle live above. The two producers are flipping classic breaks like "Big Beat" and "Super Freak," as well as their own hits.
