Papoose has put battle rapper Eazy Da Block Captain on blast for his former relationship with Remy Ma on new diss track "Handshakes with Snakes."
Produced by Ron Browz, the five-minute diss track hears the Brooklyn native question Eazy's success in battle rap while also shading Remy, his estranged wife.
"I heard he said he took my bitch, what's wrong with this creep? / How he going to take something from me that belonged to the streets?" Papoose spits on the song.
Elsewhere on the track, Papoose also claims to have beaten up Eazy, which reportedly happened in December 2023, per TMZ. "Knocked out with twitches in his eyes / He said he was a side n***a so I left him [music] laying on his side," Papoose raps.
Eazy would later confirm the fight rumors, but claimed that Papoose was aware of his two-year relationship with Remy before the news broke. In regards to the fight, Eazy denied that he fell and claimed that Papoose "ran" after landing a punch.
"Handshakes with Snakes" follows Papoose's viral song "Jezebel," which also takes aim at Remy Ma two years after their split. Pap, who married Remy in 2008, is now in a relationship with professional boxer Claressa Shields.
Last month, Remy dropped her Alimony EP, which features songs "Why I Get Married?" and "W.Y.F.L.," both about her strained relationship with Papoose. The former couple share a seven-year-old daughter, Reminisce Makenzie.
