Does Drake have another project on the way? It certainly seems that way after he’s been teasing something on social media.

In a recent post on Instagram, Drake shared a picture showing the back of a CD jewel case that reads, in all caps, “Fear of Missing Out.” In the caption for the post, he simply shared a film camera emoji. Before that, he shared a carousel post featuring old photos of his family, and he captioned that, “FOMO 2026.” Many observers took this to mean that something new is on the way.

It seems unlikely, but not impossible, that Drake is gearing up to release another full-length project later this year. He released three albums simultaneously in May with Iceman, Maid of Honour, and Habibti, for one. But Drake is nothing if prolific, so there’s certainly a chance a new album or mixtape is on the way, especially after he said during a stream earlier this month that his “pen isn’t dry” yet.

These guys are dropping albums, it’s like, hello and goodbye. And careful with that reply, ‘cause the pen isn’t dry,” he cautioned other rappers.

Of course, there’s the possibility that it’s all a lead-up to another type of project, whether that be a movie or TV series, or a tour in support of his trio of 2026 albums. He has yet to perform most of the three albums’ material in a live setting, and has seemed content riding the success of his chart domination with his comeback records, a sort of bounce-back after his beef-turned-lawsuit involving Kendrick Lamar.

A quick scan of trademarks registered to Drizzy’s company Frozen Moments, LLC does not show anything related to “FOMO” or “fear of missing out,” and a search for songs with those titles connected to the superstar comes up empty as well.

Whatever is coming, it’s never a dull moment when Drake takes to Instagram to tease something new. Hell, it could be another trilogy of albums; who knows what to expect when it comes to the 6 God?
