Blueface was once again detained following another incident of someone swatting the rapper.
As reported by TMZ, the 29-year-old rapper was arrested on Monday (Oct. 19) in Santa Clarita, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies responded to a call on Monday evening regarding a man allegedly pointing a firearm at someone in the neighborhood of Valencia, and when they arrived, they detained multiple people, including the rapper and Kick Streamer. Police said that Blueface refused to follow the commands of the responding officers and was arrested for delaying the police probe, which ultimately turned out to be a swatting call.
When Complex reached out to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office for comment, they confirmed that Blueface was arrested.
“On Monday, October 19, 2026, at approximately 7:43 p.m., Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station deputies responded to a restaurant located on the 24200 block of Magic Mountain Parkway in Valencia regarding a report of a male adult wearing a costume who allegedly brandished a firearm at another individual,” the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office shared in a statement. “Upon arrival, deputies contained the area and detained several individuals while investigating the reported incident.”
During their response to the incident, “a male adult wearing a costume” repeatedly refused to comply with directions from the responding deputies. “Through their field investigation, deputies determined that the initial report was a swatting incident,” the statement continued. “The male adult was identified as 29-year-old Johnathan Porter [Blueface’s birth name]. He was arrested for misdemeanor charges of resisting, delaying, or obstructing a peace officer in the performance of their duties.”
Blueface, who is currently on probation for his involvement in a 2022 shooting in Las Vegas, has had a few swatting incidents ever since he started streaming frequently earlier this year. In August, for instance, authorities detained Blueface while he was streaming at his King of Crabs seafood restaurant, also in Santa Clarita.
He was with his then-girlfriend, Navaeh Akira, and their baby boy, Jonathan Jr., when police showed up after an incident of “severe violence” involving the rapper was reported. He was detained at gunpoint by the responding officers but was released shortly after the incident, with police determining that it was an apparent incident of swatting.
During the same month, police were called on Blueface after he playfully kicked Akira, who was still pregnant at the time, into a pool. She didn’t appear distressed by the moment, which was streamed live to his audience on Kick, and she told authorities that she wasn’t in a physical altercation with him when they showed up to his property.
Earlier this month, Blueface reunited with Chrisean Rock, and they’ve since gotten engaged and even got tattoos dedicated to each other to mark the occasion. Blueface surprised fans when he proposed to Rock during a livestream at Problem Lounge in Scottsdale, Arizona
