World Series Odds 2027: Next Year Prices for Every Team in Major League Baseball

Big market teams like the Dodgers and Yankees are perched atop the odds board despite the success of small market teams like the Brewers and Rays this season.

The party is ongoing in Milwaukee as the Brewers are the 2026 World Series champions. Fanbases of the other 29 teams in MLB have already turned the page to 2027, and Fanatics already has World Series odds for next year available.

The defending champion Brewers are +500 to defend their title, but they are not the favorite. That designation goes to the Dodgers, who are in their typical spot atop World Series futures boards.

Big market teams like the Yankees (+750), Red Sox (+1200), Phillies (+1800), and Mets (+2000) also reside near the top of the 2027 championship board.

Looming over this anticipation for next year is a likely MLB lockout on December 1, as owners are pushing for a hard salary cap and floor.

We’ll stay positive here, though, and assume the labor dispute will get resolved before next spring.

  • Diamondbacks (+6000)
  • Royals (+8000)

  • Giants (+20000)

LA Dodgers (+310)
The Dodgers are back in their usual spot atop the Fanatics Sportsbook World Series odds board, and they will likely remain there as long as Los Angeles ownership continues to spend without a care in the world.

Nine Dodgers are free agents as we enter the off-season, but you can be sure LA will either re-sign most of them or replace them with big-money talent. Tarik Skubal headlines the list of Dodgers FAs.

Milwaukee Brewers (+500)
The champion Brewers will likely lose several—if not many—players in free agency, ss Jake Bauers, Gary Sanchez, Brandon Woodruff, Dustin May, Bryse Wilson, JoJo Romero, and Antonio Senzatela are all FAs. Bauers, the first baseman, is as good as gone as his price tag will almost surely be too hefty.

New York Yankees (+750)
The Yankees have made the playoffs in nine of the last 10 seasons but have no World Series rings to show for it. The lack of title-winning urgency is alarming in the Bronx, as the Steinbrenner family is running it back with Aaron Boone as manager and Brian Cashman as GM. Second baseman Jazz Chisholm is likely to leave in free agency. Closer David Bednar is also a free agent, but Cashman may very well spend the money to bring him back.
