Last year’s collaboration between Kith and Bergdorf Goodman had many customers scratching their heads. Could one of NYC’s biggest streetwear brands perform well in the storied luxury department store? Well, it seems the answer was “yes.”
About eight months after their debut collaboration dropped, Kith and Bergdorf Goodman have picked up right where they left off. The brand and retailer have created a second capsule collection that aims to change the idea of “modern luxury.” Staple pieces like quarter-zip pullovers, hoodies, track pants, tees, shorts, and hats will be presented in custom-milled jacquard fabric as well as rich navy, burgundy, and forest green colors. The range will also feature gold hardware and Kith x Bergdorf Goodman co-branding throughout. This collection is also notable because it marks only the second time in Bergdorf’s history that they allowed their logo to be placed on the outside of clothing.
