G-Star RAW's legendary 3D denim Elwood jeans turned 20 last year, and this year they have been given arguably their biggest reinterpretation ever. For the Elwood X25 collection, the jeans are now available in 25 different prints curated by G-Star's Head of Imagination, Pharrell Williams. Speaking about the collection of prints, Pharrell said "the 25 prints are an expression of true creativity. They give everyone the freedom to choose for themselves, and by doing so, empower them to decide who they want to be and what they want to wear."
The patterns include the Tigerstripe Camouflage print, which takes inspiration from patterns that were first used in dense South East Asian jungles, the Chinoiserie print, which is influenced by traditional Chinese ceramics, and the Fleur de Lys, which features a symbol that has come to represent the people of France.Â
