Selena Gomez just landed a new gig as the face of Coach, and the job reportedly comes with $10 million and the chance to design her own collection with the luxury label. The announcement came less than a week after Coach celebrated its 75th anniversary in NYC.

In recent years, the luxury label has made an effort to rebuild its brand image; there was its expansion into menswear in 2014, its introduction to fashion-forward stores like Opening Ceremony and Colette, and its decision to tap young celebrities like Kid Cudi as its campaign stars. This new partnership with Gomez appears to be the label’s latest attempt to appeal to the younger generation.

“Coach is like the Mulberry of America and Stuart Vevers (Coach’s creative director) has done a great job of making it young and fresh," stylist Arabella Greenhill told the Telegraph. "Signing Selena is another smart move. Every teenager in the world will want her bag."

The label has not revealed any more details about its contract with the 24-year-old singer; however, sources told Page Six that in addition to appearing in ads, Gomez will design her own line with American fashion company. Will it be footwear? Apparel? Accessories? We’ll have to wait and see.

Gomez’s deal with Coach comes months after she was enlisted as the face of Louis Vuitton. When you take her notable style and massive social media following into account, it’s not too surprising that the fashion world is knocking at her door.
