Last year, LeBron James wore black, lace-less sneakers during Game 3 of the NBA Finals. The sneaker—the LeBron Soldier X—was first released this past June and has inspired John Elliott’s collaboration with Nike. On Dec. 3, Nike will debut a new colorway of the LeBron Soldier X—the “Red Toe.”
In celebration of the release, the sportswear giant has put together a lookbook showcasing the sneaker, along with the “Battle Grey” colorway, first sold earlier this month. Featured in the lookbook are five influencers, including Canadian rapper Jazz Cartier, Survivor’s Remorse actor Jessie T Usher, rapper Jerreau, entrepreneur and Akron native Rodney James, and lawyer-creative consultant and Cleveland-born Kelton Crenshaw.
The lookbook was photographed by Hannah Sider, who’s also worked with Travis Scott, The Weeknd, and ASAP Rocky, and features apparel from Nike Sportswear’s Holiday 2016 collection and John Elliott’s Fall/Winter 2016 line.
