When Ronnie Fieg launched his Kith Treats business alongside the renovation of the Kith Brooklyn flagship, he gave a lot of interviews reminiscing Saturday morning cartoons. He brought that feeling back on Saturday, screening an episode of Power Rangers on the Kith Network in order to launch his latest collaboration.

At the Kithland showing, Fieg debuted collaborations with cartoons like Power Rangers, Rugrats, and Looney Toons. This morning, the brand screened a full Power Rangers episode featuring the debut of the White Ranger, Fieg’s favorite. Taken artistically, one could liken the Rangers’ need for collaboration in order to accomplish tasks to Kith’s approach to the market—Fieg did, after all, showcase a full 25 at Kithland. For commercials, Fieg debuted a series of videos created in collaboration with Cap'n Crunch. Those videos, as well as a hotline launched at the end of the episode, were the first part of a much larger partnership between the two brands.

Next Saturday, the pair will open two pop-up shops, one in Miami and another in New York. The Miami store will be at 721 Lincoln Road, which opens at 10 a.m., while the New York pop-up will be at 543 Broadway Avenue, which opens at 11 a.m. Both will host a full menu of original Cap'n Crunch cereal combos in addition to an apparel and accessory collection. It’s likely this collection will include pins that have been previewed on social media as well as some of the cartoon-bedecked merch from the Kithland presentation. This collection will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

For the first official collaboration of Kith Treats, the pair will also debut Cap'n Kith. At Kithland, the Kith Treats cereal bar gave away Cap'n Kith-branded cereal boxes with Cap'n Crunch inside. To celebrate the launch next weekend, the pop-up shops will host 500 limited edition, custom-designed supermarket-sized boxes of the cereal. Each will be numbered to ensure its authenticity.

Like other Kith retail outlets, both spaces will be designed by Snarkitecture. While there have been no official announcements on what they may look like, in one of the clips, Cap'n Crunch crawls through a space decorated with hanging white Air Force casts. That sneaker style is a recurring motif for Kith. The arrangement looks similar to past installations Snarkitecture has done. It wouldn’t be too much of a leap to assume that the stores themselves might be set up in this way.

Having now debuted #SaturdayMorningCartoons and Kith Treats as both viable entities, one has to wonder what else is coming down the pipeline for the brand.
