New York City is part of KITH's DNA, and in the past, the brand has collaborated with the city's winningest team, the New York Yankees. Now, KITH has teamed up with both the Bronx Bombers and the New York Mets as well as New Era for the Subway Series cap collection.

The collection pays homage to a variety of momentous occasions in both teams' histories. The first four caps celebrate the 2000 World Series, which pitted the Yankees against the Mets and was called, of course, the Subway Series. Two of these caps are offered in the teams' traditional colorways while the remaining two throw one team's insignia on top of the other squad's colors.

Two other caps commemorate the anniversaries of each team's respective World Series wins. The Yankees cap comes 20 years after the team's 1996 World Series win, while the Mets' cap honors the 30th anniversary of the team's 1986 'chip. Both of these caps come with a rose gold plate on the front, a World Series patch on the right, and the teams' logos on the rear. Only 144 of each of these hats were made.

KITH enlisted pitchers from each team to model the caps in a lookbook. Dellin Betances represents the Yankees, while Jason DeGrom reps the Mets.

Each purchase of an anniversary cap will come with a ticket to a Subway Series game. Purchase of the Mets cap will come with a single seat to the August 2 game at Citi Field, while a ticket to the August 3 game at Yankee Stadium will be given to those who buy the Yanks cap. These two hats will be released July 29, but you can only buy the Mets cap at KITH's Manhattan location and the Yankees hat at the brand's Brooklyn storefront.

The four other hats celebrating the 2000 Subway World Series will come out on July 30 at both KITH stores and its website. The pop-ups at the stadiums on August 2 and 3 will also carry the four other hats.
