Luke Williams to Showcase Three-Day Exhibition at the Mercer Chance Gallery in Hoxton, London

Mercer Chance will be running a three-day exhibition showcasing the paintings of Luke Williams

The Mercer Chance Gallery in Hoxton will be running an exhibition that will showcase the works of young British artist Luke Williams.

The Byam Shaw School of Art graduate (who’s illustrious alumni includes: O Zhang and James Dyson—yes the guy who invented the Dyson hoover) and J.H Cooke & Sons apprentice will be showcasing his work for three days in June.

Previously, Williams spent six years restoring old paintings, observing the works of masters from a bygone era, while he honed his own set of skills. It also served as a source of inspiration for his work which is closely based on Dutch interior painters, successfully capturing the mise-en-scene of contemporary life. Through his elegant work he’s able to seize the mundanity of everyday home life, making it appear interesting and captivating. The true sign of a talented artist.

Luke Williams' exhibition will be running for three days; opening on Saturday June 11 and closing Monday June 13 at the Mercer Chance Gallery in Hoxton, East London.
