Meet The Experts Behind 'Streetwear: Mastered', the World's First Course For Streetwear Brands

Featuring Virgil Abloh (Off White), Rob Jest (Alife), Samuel Ross (A-Cold-Wall*), Jörg Haas (Hypebeast), Fraser Cooke and more.

When we first heard about Streetwear: Mastered—an online course for upcoming streetwear designers that has Virgil Abloh (Off White), Rob Jest (Alife), Samuel Ross (A-Cold-Wall*), Jörg Haas (Hypebeast), Fraser Cooke and a whole host of other streetwear luminaries involved—it felt like a watershed moment.

If recent times have taught us anything, it’s that streetwear has arrived (finally) into the world of high fashion, opening up a new realm of opportunity for designers. The hunger for truly brilliant streetwear has never been greater and so, where previously there might have been room for only one or two famous brands (Supreme anyone?), the time is now ripe for a whole new class of design minds.

But where were these designers going to be found? At traditional fashion schools? Really?

Streetwear: Mastered is a 15-week online program delivered entirely by experts from the world of streetwear. Through lectures, tasks, and personal mentoring, the program aims to arm its alumni with the skills to get ahead in the rapidly changing, fiercely competitive world of streetwear.

It’s an ambitious project that is the first of its kind. But then again, streetwear was never the kind of discipline to follow the rulebook. We met some of the experts involved in the program to find out more.
