Yesterday saw the launch of the third part of the ‘Live in Levi’s' project which serves as a platform to celebrate how people across the world go about their everyday lives, no matter how unique or minuscule, while wearing the famous denim.

Since launching in 2014 the 'Live in Levi’s' project has garnered much success and the spring 2016 project—themed around the idea that ‘We Are 501’—enlists the creative minds of Caroline de Maigret, Classixx and Yi Zhou. Through their individual stories each one of the artists elaborate on how the 501 jeans are a symbol of originality that they themselves try to reflect in their own separate projects/works. The campaign focuses on select 501 products including the 501 jean, 501CT jean and 501 cut-off shorts and the diversity of the people who wear them.

Additionally the general public are encouraged to share their 501 experiences by using the hashtag #501 and #LiveInLevis as “the people who wear Levi’s have always been the inspiration” of the brand. The campaign is a way for Levi’s to open their legacy to the world and invite participation from users. As well as the digital and social platforms, Levi’s will be showing fans how to get each of the participating artists' look through curated video content.

You can find the 501 jeans worn by Caroline de Maigret, Classixx and Yi Zhou on the Levi’s webstore and to follow their ‘We Are 501’ stories click here.
