To the untrained eye the world of graffiti and street art appears to be dominated by men, however many female artists have made great contributions to the scene that have been just as significant to their male counterparts.

Artists like Miss Van, Bambi and Lady Pink (just a few big names out of many) have been at the forefront of cultivating a scene that at times seems like a 'boys only' club. To celebrate and acknowledge the work of the countless female contemporaries across the globe the Saatchi Gallery will be opening a new exhibition dubbed ‘XX: A Moment in Time’ at the beginning of February.

XX will be an exhibition featuring new works from artists including; Aiko, Faith 47, the aforementioned Miss Van and Vexta. Curated by Olly Walker and supported by Yasha YoungXX will showcase an eclectic variety of the artists' talent and creativity – some of whom it will be the first time displaying their work in the UK – in the hope to inspire future generations of female artists. You can check out a preview of what will be on display in the gallery below.

XX: A Moment in Time will open on the 3rd February and run until 6th March in the Prints & Originals Gallery section at the Saatchi Gallery. More details can be found in the flyer below.
