Here's a Look at H&M Design Award Winner Xion Lee's Capsule Collection

The menswear designer's collection drops later this month.

Designer Xion Lee is the first to ever take home the H&M Design Award for menswear. Since the 24-year-old Parson's School of Design graduate won the coveted title, he is now producing an 8-piece capsule collection for the retailer. 

The up-and-coming designer caught our eye a few seasons back when he debuted a collection for VFILES. His avant-garde style included oversized silhouettes, exaggerated structures, and unconventional materials that will also be carried through to his latest project. 

For his new pieces, Lee worked closely with the H&M design team to create a complex bonded fabric and used heavy foam to create his large forms. 

The collection will be in select stores and online Oct. 22.
