Givenchy and Yeezy Season 2 Were Among the Most-Instagrammed Shows of NYFW

The circus that is New York Fashion Week has come and gone. And now that the dust has finally settled, Instagram returns with a new batch of data that outlines the most popular posts of the week. And it appears this season’s numbers were through the roof.

During NYFW this past February, the amount of interactions reached an impressive 85 million; however, this month’s events resulted in over 200 million—proving once again, the importance of social media in the fashion industry.

So who came out on top? In regards to most-liked posts, Selena Gomez came in first with 1.5 million likes for a photo taken at the Ralph Lauren show; Kim Kardashian came in second (1.2 million) for the image of North dressed in custom Yeezy Season 2; and Kendall Jenner came in third (1.1 million) for picture of her Givenchy runway appearance.

 

Givenchy led the top five most-Instagrammed shows, followed by Diane von Furstenberg, Polo, Coach, and Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 2. No surprise there.
