By almost all accountsStraight Outta Compton is an incredible film and a massive box office success, but that doesn't mean it's not without its (tiny) flaws.

Observant sports fans have pointed out that it would have been impossible for Eazy-E to be wearing the Chicago White Sox's cap he's rocking in the film's opening scene, according to Sportress of Blogitude. The moment is set in 1986, however, the White Sox wouldn't unveil this style hat, which features Old English lettering, until 1991. In 1991, the White Sox changed their uniforms over to the black and white style they still use today and introduced this hat as part of the new look. It's a tiny gaffe that doesn't take anything away from the movie, but is interesting nonetheless.

Had the filmmakers wanted to show Eazy-E in a White Sox cap that would have been more consistent with the era, it would have been the color-blocked blue, red, and white version seen below, according to ESPN. The White Sox wore these jerseys through 1986.
