After eight years of working together on the Black Fleece collection, Brooks Brothers and Thom Browne have decided to part ways, reports The New York Times. The collaboration brought a line of high-end menswear to the traditional American brand, offering cropped trousers, crisp oxfords, and colorful ties.

Black Fleece was only intended to be a three-year project, but the success of the partnership has kept it around much longer. Fall 2015 will be Browne's last collection before he leaves to focus on his own brand.  Claudio Del Vecchio, the Brooks Brothers chief executive, says that this final line will be the best one yet.

Brooks Brother's has not ruled out the possibility of reviving the line in the future without Browne at the helm.
