After 12 years in the business, The Hundreds is one of the most well-known and successful street brands in the industry. However, founders Bobby and Ben Hundreds are still looking to evolve and switch things up, they reveal in an interview with Hypebeast

The Hundreds founders say that the brand's new Fall/Winter 2015 collection is a complete departure from what has made the brand a success. "This season is the beginning of a new chapter within the company," Bobby told Hypebeast. "We decided to put design first and create a collection that we could be proud of and that we would wear."

Bobby elaborates that this means stepping back from using the brand's Adam Bomb logo to make more refined garments, making less cut-and-sewn pieces, and upgrading the material they used. While some of these changes have caused the price to go up, Bobby says that they were necessary for the brand to take the next step. "Even if we felt as though we were taking a risk in terms of our margins and sales, it felt right; if these changes were right for the piece and if it was right for us, it was right for the brand."

Bobby and Ben also touch on social media as crucial to the brand, but they view it as a "necessary evil," Ben says. While they admit social media is very important, The Hundreds website is really where their focus lies.
