It shouldn't be a shock that Polo Ralph Lauren is going to come with a fire collection filled with everyday pieces. Ralph's been doing that with not just one, but several lines for several decades now. According to a press release from Polo, speaking on the newest release, this is a "fine tuned heritage story for Spring 2016, where iconic pieces are updated for the modern man."

In normal terms? Ralph's got every aspect of your life covered.

Lauren's tailoring skills are what kick off the collection, with plenty of soft shouldered jackets to sit alongside narrow, lightweight suiting. For a twist, Ralph included a double-breasted silhouette or two (shouts to that tuxedo), along with a full three-piece suit in dark indigo denim.

But it's not all business with Ralph, and an outerwear-heavy offering includes a fire red fireman's jacket (complete with waterproofed sealed seam construction); a belted moto jacket; and nylon trenches to provide excellent counterpoints to textured knits, and biker-style denim

But before you accuse Ralph of staying in his comfort zone with Polo, he goes and switches up the collection with a round of military-inspired athletic gear. Drawing from the terrain of the Sierra Nevada mountains, olives and tans (and a neon-ish camo), herald a shift towards the technical. Putting the "sport" into "sportswear," terms like "hybrid knit outerwear," and "three-layer nylon military jackets" are indicators that Ralph isn't simply making men look better—he's aiming to make product that can be functional as well.

Speaking on the collection, the Polo brand said the pieces are, "ready for rustic trails as easily as metropolitan streets." In other words: classic Ralph.
