Levi's has shown its dedication to recycling before, whether it's filling up the 49ers' stadium with donated jeans or making products out of plastic bottles. Now, the brand is taking its plan one step further with a recycling initiative that comes with a great incentive for customers, Quartz reports

Any unwanted clothes or footwear can be traded into Levi's in exchange for a 20 percent discount. This program was previously available at certain locations, but now the company is taking the initiative nationwide. The only requirement is that the clothes are clean and dry, and Levi's, along with I:Collect, will do the rest. Wearable items will be resold while the rest will be turned into shredding that is used to fill car seats, building insulation, cushioning, and even stuffed animals. Some of the shredded material will also be re-purposed into fibers to make new clothing.

Eventually, Levi's hopes that through recycling we can stop using new resources and only use recycled ones. The company hopes to expand the project to all of its global stores by 2020. "This is really based on that experience and the fact that it is working," Levi's VP of sustainability Michael Kobori tells Quartz. "We wanted to expand it and begin to take that next step towards our vision of a more circular economy or closed-loop system for our products."
