The annual Met Gala is often considered the social events of all social events. The surreal mix of impeccably dressed movie stars, musicians, and other obscenely rich people has turned the fundraising affair into an unofficial flex zone. But do you know how much time, money, and effort goes into pulling off this extravagant event? Probably not. But you soon will.

According to reports by WWD, Vogue and Condé Nast Entertainment have announced a partnership with Relativity Studios to produce a documentary about the 2015 Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Gala. The project, which will be directed by Andrew Rossi, will take an in-depth look at the making of the gala and explore the 2015 “China: Through the Looking Glass” exhibit.

“This will be an extraordinary opportunity for a global audience to see what goes on before and after guests walk the red carpet, including the months of preparation for the exhibition and storied gala, culminating in the big opening night,” Relativity president Tucker Tooley said in a statement.

As of now, there is no release date set. But keep it locked to Complex for any new information.
