This week, Project Cobalt held an event at Jeff Staple's Reed Space store and gallery in New York City to showcase its inaugural collection for Spring/Summer 2015. The collection was conceived and designed by the first-ever Project Cobalt Craft Class team, a group of New York-based designers brought together under the mentorship of experienced industry figures to learn and create innovative product. The team includes Olu Alege and Edgar Garrido of Street Level Culture, Alexandra Kennedy, Samantha Giordano of Dolores Haze, and Drew Villani.
Following the launch event, a week-long popup concept shop featuring the new collection as well as collaborative pieces with Pintrill and Black Ivy will remain on view at Reed Space through April 22.
