Artist Daniel Arsham has been exhibiting a series of sculptures called "Future Relics," which includes electric guitars, microphones, cell phones, cameras, tires, phones, and more industrial objects that are fading into the past more quickly than ever before. Now, the objects are part of a larger narrative—Arsham's 9-part film, naturally titled Future Relic.

So far Arsham has revealed the first three shorts. Future Relic 01 was scored by Swizz Beatz and has costuming by Richard Chai, and Future Relic 02 stars James Franco and has costuming by Public School (in it, Franco "spends his days underground indexing and destroying objects from the civilization that was"). Future Relic 03 just premiered at the TriBeCa Film Festival with music by Alexis Georgopoulos, and it stars Juliette Lewis in costuming by Richard Chai (with Hender Schemes on her feet, no less). Needless to say, Arsham has a top team helping him execute his vision for the entire film.

Watch Future Relic 03 below via Arsham's new production company, Film the Future, and NOWNESS. All nine films will be screened at next year's 2016 Tribeca Film Festival.

UPDATE: Coinciding with the online premiere is the release of the Future Relic 03 object, a bell clock made of cast plaster and broken glass.  The work is available for sale on April 28, 2015 at 1:00 pm EST at OH-WOW.com.
