On May 2 in Los Angeles, Manifest:Justice will open a community art exhibition at the old Baldwin Hills Theater that reflects the current social climate of this country. The exhibition will features over 200 social justice and human rights-themed works by 150 artists including Swoon, Shepard Fairey, Augustine KofieBen Eine, Bask, Dave Kinsey, El Mac, Esteven Oriol, Hank Willis Thomas, Cryptik, Gabriel Garcia Roman, Kadir Nelson, and Munk One. With the current unrest in Baltimore, and protests happening around the country following the death of 25-year-old Freddie Gray at the hands of Baltimore police, the opening of Manifest:Justice could not have come at a more important time.

In addition to the exhibition, Manifest:Justice with support from Arts for Amnesty and the California Endowment will host several community events and workshops, all of which are outlined fully on their website's calendar. The events include wellness fairs, farmer's markets, performances, writing workshops for teens, and artist talks.
