There’s no doubt about it: New York City is becoming one of the leading hotbeds for contemporary menswear.

As the home to many of our favorite designers, brands, and retailers, the area has become increasingly known for its eclectic mix of styles—including everything from streetwear to sportswear to heritage. With so much diversity among visions and tastes, it’s no wonder the city is finally getting its own Fashion Week exclusively for menswear.

To celebrate and honor NYC’s contribution to men’s fashion, MR PORTER has dedicated its latest issue of The Journal entirely to the Big Apple. The main editorial, titled “An Empire State of Style,” features the minds behind 11 of our favorite labels, including Public School, Ovadia & Sons, Saturdays Surf NYC, Michael Bastian, Todd Snyder, and Mark McNairy. Pretty epic lineup, right?

But that’s not all, in addition to the main editorial, the 202nd issue will also include a profile on native New Yorker and Oscar-winner Adrien Brody, a tell-all piece by a New York cab driver, an interview with renowned art dealer Jeffrey Deitch, and a look at the city’s biggest style icons of all time.

This is definitely an issue you won’t want to miss. To read the full articles featured in The Journal, head over to MR PORTER’s website.
